Snow...Snow...Snow. The kids and I came up to Flagstaff on Wednesday afternoon because the girls had an orthodontist appointment on Thursday morning. We decided to go up Wednesday because I-17 was going to be shut down due to the snowfall in Flagstaff. The roads were wet, but clear on our way up and we didn't have any problems. I knew it was going to snow overnight, but I thought that the roads would be clear by the afternoo and I could just drive home then. Much to my surprise, a HUGE storm hit and we got snowed in. All of the freeways in and out of Flag are close. We have been here or 3 days and are hoping that the freeways open tomorrow afternoon. Flagstaff has gotton about 50" of snow and it is STILL SNOWING! We are suppose to see 15"-20" of new snow tomorrow totally around 70" of snow. YIKES!!!

This is what we woke up to Thursday morning. CRAZINESS!!! My dad had to drive us to the orthodontist in his 4 wheel drive. We had gotten about 40 inches by then.

Grandma and Grandpa Brown came out and help with our sleding fun!

What to do when you are snowed in....
You go sledding in the backyard of course! This was in my brother, Ben's, backyard.

Check out Livy's feet:) bagged and taped!

This is all of us in Ben's back yard from left to right: Mom, me, Carter, Kaylee, Shayla, Ashlyn and Livy. Check out all the snow! That fence behind us is a 6 foot fence and the snow is only inches from the top.

Here is my niece, Elizabeth. She loved the snow the little turkey kept throwing snowballs at me. Good thing she is cute and innocent or else I would have forced her to do a snow angel. I wonder who put her up to that.
Carter loves the snow. We bagged and taped up Livy's and Carter's shoes and hands and they go out and play in the snow as long as they can stand it. Then they come in for hot chocolate. Carter is usually SO cold by then that he is pink all over and cries because he is freezing.

After sledding we built a snowman. Livy and Carter hadn't ever built a one before so Uncle Ben, Aunt Heidi, and Elizabeth all help us make this cute "Frosty" (that is what Carter named him).

After sledding and building a snowman, we all came in to Grandma's and Grandpa's house and had hot chocolate and snow icecream, Grandpa's specialty.
