Liv and Carter on swim team

At the swim meet there was a photographer for th out of about 100 kids Carter and Livy both got photographed and were on the front page of the paper. The best part about it is that cousin McKell wrote on Carters back and it is misspelled. Love it!e news paper.
I don't think it gets better than this. Olivia and Carter were on the swim team all summer. This was there first time. They got to participate in meets and swim 5 days a week. They were in heaven. Carter couldn't swim the length of the pool when he started, but within two weeks he was swiming like a champ. At his very first meet his coach lined him up to swim with the 10 and older division. I didn't realize what was going on untill he was lined up at the block. We were at the opposite end of the pool and Olivia said, "He can't swim this race." Being the protective mom I was I told her that of course he could. It was then she told me that the older kids swim two lengths of the pool. Uh oh! I didn't know if he could do it. The swimmers got on their blocks. Carter looked around him and the kids had thier arms up, ready to dive into the water. Carter put his arms up and when the gun went of the other kids dove in the water and Carter jumped straight up into teh air, spread his arms and legs like a frog, and went into the water. He started swimming and we were cheering him on from the opposite side of the pool. He made it down to us and was doing great. He tought he was over when we told him to turn around and swim back to the other side. He did great! He made the two laps like a champ!
